Journal Entry 002

So what's new this week? Well, life lately has all been about preparation for the coming weeks ahead. On Aug 1st, eight of us are piling into two vehicles and driving 1,363 km (approximately 14 hours) to Fredericton, New Brunswick. We're all renting a house and spending four days in town to celebrate the marriage of our two close friends. I haven't been out of the province in ages, and it's been about 25 years since I traveled to the East Coast so I'm very much looking forward to it!

We return on the Sunday and then we're back on the road Thursday for my brother's wedding (the first one in our family). All of that said, it's been a busy few weeks trying to do as much as I can before my time, attention and internet is limited. But I'm so excited to be switching up the routine and celebrating both couples! Also, a little treat for you: if you're Canadian and haven't ordered off yet, I've got a bonus code that'll earn ya $10 off your first purchase of $40 or more (which will include free shipping). That bonus code is: christmasinjuly :)

So without any further ado, here's journal entry number two

How simple it is to acknowledge that all the worry in the world could not control the future. How simple it is to see that we can only be happy now, and that there will never be a time when it is not now.
